77 mk1 Rabbit.
2.0 passat block 1.8 16 valbve head.Possibly a t-3 7 to 10 p.s.i..
It is going to be 1600 to 1800 lbs curb weight, and I am looking around 150 to 200 h.p.to start.
If I get a better tranny,but I realy I want like 250 to 350.
But with mega squirt I can add and adapt later.

Don't waste your time with a V2.2 board. Yeah I know they are cheap but they also limit what you can do before you you have to start modding. Go with a V3.0 MS1 setup as a minimum.

Uh....yeah.... I'm one of the beta testers for both MS3 and MS3X. 8-) My Corrado is currently running an MS3 V3.57 in upgrade mode. I just installed an MS3X but haven't started wiring in any of the sequential stuff. We did most of the MS3X beta testing in my best friend's 1.8T powered Corrado. The MS3/3X combo is amazing.

Can I get more information on it?
Also are they going to do the class again?
I going to get a turbo hopefully this week end.I need floor pans in the car, then I will get way more antsy.
I found a 2.0 16v from a passat,I have two 1.8 16v heads I can go two ways on the head.
I going to see if the crank is forged if so I going to try to get it.It is setting out side so hopefully it is not full of H2O.

What do you want to know about MS3/3X? For the most part it is a bigger badder version of MS that supports fully sequential fuel and spark and LOTS more goodie/extras. MS3 is really just a faster (much ) processor and the 3X is an expander board that connects directly to the MS3 daughterboard with 2 ribbon cables and has 8 injector drivers, 8 logic level spark outputs, 6 PWM capable medium current GPOs and a bunch of other stuff already built on it. An MS V3.0 or 3.57 mainboard combined with the MS3 daughterboard and 3X expansionboard is equal or superior (in terms of capability) to ANYTHING in the SEM market. And way cheaper.

What class?

All 16V motors have forged cranks.
