Hi im Tony and i live in the Greater Grand Rapids area of cedar springs. I am looking to build an OBD1 ABA block for placement in my 82 rabbit convertible. I have no idea what i am doing or what i need for parts but am a repair tech by trade and am a fast learner so i came to soak up all the knowledge i can. Good to meet you all in advance.

i have swapped an aba bottom end on the existing head. it that what you are after?

i made my own block off plates and franekstiened the dizzy together and found freeze plugs that fit, and a whole bunch of other stuff . it took some figureing out how to get the belts setup for non ac with power steering....there were issues with everything, this was the first time i ever did anything like this...i am in a huge project of re-shelling the car and i will do some things differently this time around
