To answer your question directly, the EDIS wheel and parts were taken from an Escort. The 36-1 wheel is fitted to a stock AC pulley which fits nicely behind the fan (it's used in lieu of a spacer on the hub), just outside of the shroud. The pulley had to be trimmed about 2mm off the OD for a perfect press fit. I simply mocked it up with the engine at TDC, mounted the VR sensor to the back of the fan shroud with two screws (non-adjustable mounting) and clocked the wheel 90 degrees. Tacked it in place and was rather shocked that I nailed the timing to the degree (verified with my timing light).
