Starting issue from cold

Hi all,
I have been experiencing a strange issue with the initial cold startup on my VW engine. The engine fires into life but then stalls out. Second start sometimes does the same thing. Then it will run but the engine revs will die off and then stall. This process happens a few times and then the engine will be fine. Every other startup from then on is fine.
Now the really strange thing I found when looking at a datalog was that when the revs were coming down, the VE was going up (which is what I think it should do) but the Duty Cycle was going down, and then the engine stalled.
This site wont let me attach the .msq datalog.
Engine is a 1915cc Scat with twin 50m throttle bodies, wasted spark GM coils, crank sensor, T25 Garret Turbo (12-13psi) and water-to-air intercooler.
Any ideas?
Thanks, David
