I use GM sensors usually. The factory Bocsh CTS works fine but they are know to fail and you have to custom set the resistance values with easytherm (MS1) or in megatune/TS(MS2) I think the plastic push in GM IAT is the best unless you have a turbo app. boosted apps need a scew in IAT, again I like the GM.

These are coolant temerature sensor, and Idle air temp.
I read it was good to pick stuff that the parts will be plentyfull in ten years from now.
like injectors.I was thinking of snagging one of a digi,or mk2 vw.i cant picture those going scarce.
I am going to attempt to use a 16v passat thottle body with a TPS,on top of the MAP sensor.
I found the sensor on ebay for 45 bucks new.(TPS)

OK, so should I just tap out the Thermo-time switch mount to 3/8 NPT for the coolant sensor?
It looks a little tall, maybe I should cut it down a bit? :?

I don't think that is the best solution for the 8V JH though.
It would place the sensor up out of the direct stream and trap air in there.
Good solution for the 16V guys.
Thanks
