I've just finished fitting a full Megasquirt 2 v3 EFI system to my 1600 TP otherwise standard Type 1 motor.
I've done a little bit of fiddling to get it up and running and it now starts and warms up perfectly but it doesn't run as well as I'd like in normal driving.
I will be taking the car to a rolling road to fully sort it but in the meantime I will be using VE Analyse Live in TunerStudio to roughly sort out the fuelling.
V.E.A.L. adjusts the VE table to the desired Air/Fuel Ratio but if the AFR table is not correct in the first place the resulting tune will be wrong too.
A Beetle engine is definitely not your typical motor so I'm not sure if any of the generally available AFR tables are suitable.
Does anyone out there have a working AFR table for an air cooled VW that they are willing to share with me to give me a starting point?
